willowlamp will take part in Euroluce at the Salone del Mobile for the first time this April. Renowned on the South African decor scene for its design-forward and inspiring creations and luxury chandeliers the company has previously showcased at African and Middle Eastern trade shows. Now expanding its reach into Europe’s illustrious light design elite, willowlamp will be introducing the Milanese audience to a careful curation of its most striking designs.

willowlamp's luxury chandeliers at Euroluce

As the first South African designer lighting company to show its pieces at Euroluce, willowlamp cements its status as an innovator and market leader.

With more than 420 of the best exhibitors in the sector, half of which foreign, the International Lighting Exhibition is recognised as the global benchmark lighting exhibition, where technological innovation and design culture take centre stage. The huge array of goods encompasses the very latest devices for outdoor, indoor and industrial lighting to lighting for shows and events, hospital lighting and special use lighting, home automation and lighting systems, light sources and lighting application software.

Founder and creative director Adam Hoets’ architectural background gives his works a complexity and sophistication of structure and concept that will surely captivate European design aficionados.

Hoets made the transition from architecture to lighting design in 2005 due, in part, to his goal of developing a marketable design-related product. From the Flower of Life, a chandelier that owes its name to a symbol from sacred geometry, to The Halo which draws inspiration from Gaudi’s famous Sagrada Familia cathedral, and The Southern Flame, a one-off art piece that encapsulates the magical merging of form and function that has made it a showstopper internationally, all of willowlamp’s luxury chandeliers have this in common – they are statement collector’s items that hold court in a space and make a mark on the memory.

willowlamp will be exhibiting these, and other landmark pieces, at Euroluce 9-14 April. Visit Pavilion 13, Stand H.03 to experience the impact of seeing them in person.
